Lauren Barbagallo spent many years in the financial services industry, working for major investment firms in New York and London. She worked in trade floor support, marketing, copywriting, and human resources management before embarking on a fulltime writing career. She is particularly experienced in entrepreneurial ventures, having helped launched a business line for small business owners at Morgan Stanley and having been instrumental in the startup of a broker/dealer, Louis Capital Markets, in London. She applies the same energetic, team-oriented commitment to her work with Carolyn & Co. Media

In addition to freelance business writing, Lauren also contributes to various news publications and web sites on a variety of topics including film, entertainment, culture, and general interest.

Lauren currently resides in New York City's West Village with her husband. Alongside her writing, she places utmost importance on her friends, her family and her community and volunteer commitments. In her spare time, she either works diligently on her screenplay or rides her beloved mountain bike through the streets of Manhattan.
