Katie is a multi-talented interactive pro with a background in web production, copywriting and marketing and a great passion for and wealth of knowledge on media, technology, social and entertainment trends.

Katie is experienced in end-to-end site production and management, including concept, content creation, copywriting and editing, design, email marketing, search engine optimization and web usability. She holds a dual degree in Journalism and Dramatic Literature from NYU and has worked as a professional writer for over five years, creating highly-trafficked editorial features, special microsites and video pieces in her role as Web Producer for Broadway.com and Theatre.com. She also has a background in online and traditional marketing, including efforts in the travel and trade market, providing client support in partnerships with The New York Times, Visa Signature, British Airways and JetBlue, and serving as Marketing & Promotions Director for Sh-K-Boom and Ghostlight Records.

In her spare time, Katie is an independent theater producer and freelance web designer. She lives in Manhattan alongside some colorful neighbors, and is looking forward to bringing a well-connected, single gal’s perspective to Carolyn and Co. Media’s network of sites.
